Elizabeth Burke -


Elizabeth is a talented and highly practical Executive Coach who has spent the past 20 years coaching, facilitating and consulting to local, state and national clients in both the private and public sectors. 

As an executive coach, her compassionate yet practical goal-oriented style challenges leaders to higher levels of achievement.  Elizabeth has worked with the toughest mining executives to the most challenged corporate CEO’s.  She is passionate and persistent in the face of the most difficult issues and challenges to ensure successful outcomes for her clients. As a facilitator, Elizabeth has trained and coached front-line leaders and executive teams from heavy metal industries to the most challenging, professional service environments. Difficult learning environments are her specialty. Her style is collaborative interweaving humour and warmth to challenge the thinking of her participants. She uses a wealth of tools and strategies derived from her industry experience to ensure effective transfer of learning from the training room to the workplace.


Results Achieved

  • The CFO of a semi-government organization in Brisbane had been identified as a leader in need. His style was autocratic & he was perceived as negative & disruptive. He was initially resistant to coaching & felt it was ‘all a waste of time’. By the end of 2 sessions, he had the insight to admit that there were some needed areas of improvement. That began a relationship that lasted 3 years. After the 1st year, Elizabeth moved to Sydney. The CFO requested that Elizabeth be maintained as coach & consequently, she flew back to Brisbane each month for the next 2 years of the contract. Additionally, during that time her coaching was extended to include the CEO & the whole Financial leadership team.   
  • More recently, Elizabeth worked with a large multi-national bank facilitating a Leadership program & coaching over 290 of their executive & senior management team throughout Australia & New Zealand. As a facilitator she received the highest ratings worldwide. This included Europe, the UK, USA & the Asian regions. The positive outcomes of her facilitation & coaching style were reflected in the following 2 culture surveys which indicated a significant improvement in the perception of leadership throughout the whole organization.
